Recently, an important meeting of the district-level selection committee, chaired by the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC), was held to select eligible beneficiaries for various components of the scheme.

Educational Incentives: Providing financial assistance of ₹1 lakh and ₹50,000, respectively, to women who pass the preliminary examinations of competitive exams like UPSC and BPSC to support their preparation for the main examinations.
Social Security: Operating women's helplines, short-stay homes, and working women's hostels.
Skill Development: Providing vocational training to women in the service sector to promote self-employment and help them become self-reliant.
Cultural and Innovative Initiatives: Organizing cultural fairs for women and rewarding Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for innovative work.
Administrative Directives and Next Steps
During the meeting, the DDC directed the concerned officials to make the list of selected beneficiaries public and ensure that the incentive amount is transferred to their bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) without any delay. He further stated that the main objective of this scheme is not just to provide financial aid, but to empower women by bringing them into the mainstream of society.
The completion of this selection process will provide support to hundreds of women in the district who are continuously striving for their careers and social upliftment.
