Nashik's Sakshi Jain Tops the Charts; Maharashtra Dominates the Top Ranks
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results for the CA Foundation examination held in May 2026. Students from Maharashtra have showcased their brilliance in this exam, occupying the top three positions and making the entire state proud.
Spectacular Achievement by Toppers
In the list of toppers released by the ICAI, three students from Maharashtra have secured the top spots:
First Rank (AIR 1): Sakshi Jain from Nashik has secured the first position across the country by scoring 371 out of 400 marks (92.75%).
Second Rank (AIR 2): Ayaan Abbas Ajani from Chandrapur has secured the second position with 367 marks (91.75%).
Third Rank (AIR 3): Radha Umesh Mulay from Pune has secured the third position by achieving 365 marks (91.25%).
Key Examination Statistics
The statistics for this year's CA Foundation examination are as follows:
Total Examinees: 90,217 candidates appeared for the examination.
Successful Candidates: A total of 18,124 students have been declared passed.
Overall Pass Percentage: The overall pass percentage this time stood at 20.09%.
Results by Gender:
Male Candidates: Out of 46,798, 9,769 were successful, with a pass percentage of 20.88%.
Female Candidates: Out of 43,419, 8,355 were successful, with a pass percentage of 19.24%.

ICAI President CA Prasanna Kumar D. has extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates. Visit the official ICAI website at icai.org or caresults.icai.org.
Click on the "CA Foundation Result May 2026" link.
Enter your roll number and registration number.
Click the submit button, and your scorecard will appear on the screen.
Save a printout or a digital copy for future reference.
Candidates who have passed the CA Foundation examination can now begin preparing for the next stage, the CA Intermediate, which is the next important milestone in the path to becoming a Chartered Accountant.
