Orange Alert for Rain in 11 Districts Including Gopalganj, Siwan and Saran; Strong Winds Expected
Patna: The monsoon is once again becoming active in Bihar. On Monday, August 31, rainfall is expected across several parts of the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall in 11 districts. These include Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Buxar, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, East Champaran, West Champaran and Arwal.
According to the weather warning, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds may occur in these areas. People have been advised to remain cautious during periods of severe weather, particularly because of the possibility of lightning and strong winds.
Orange Alert in 11 Districts
The weather department has warned of heavy rainfall in 11 districts of Bihar on August 31. West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Buxar, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Arwal are among the districts expected to experience significant weather activity.
