Young Scientists Showcase Innovation and Sustainable Development
Khagaria: The two-day regional program of the 32nd State-Level Children's Science Congress-2026, held at the DIET (District Institute of Education and Training) campus in Sansarpur, Khagaria, concluded on Monday with great enthusiasm and a scientific spirit. In this program, young scientists from various parts of the state not only displayed their talents but also explored new dimensions of innovation and sustainable development to find solutions to future challenges.
A Confluence of Science and Innovation
The main objective of this two-day mega-event was to foster scientific temper among students and inspire them toward research. During the program, subject experts provided in-depth guidance on important topics such as science and innovation, project formulation, and sustainable development. The experts clarified that innovation does not mean creating new technology alone, but also finding simple and effective solutions to one's local problems.
In the training sessions, experts explained the intricacies of preparing project reports, compiling data, and presenting it effectively. Students were advised to emphasize the "learning by doing" method so that they could connect scientific principles with real life.
Dr. Chandrahas Bhartiās Special Project: 'Fast Food and Health'
The most discussed topic during the event was the "model project" presented by Dr. Chandrahas Bharti. He presented a highly relevant research paper on the subject, "The Impact of Fast Food on Students' Health." Through his model, he clarified how the eating habits of the current generation are affecting their physical and mental well-being.
Using his data, Dr. Bharti demonstrated how excessive consumption of junk food can affect students' concentration, nutritional levels, and long-term health. He appealed to the students to return to nutritious and traditional diets. His project was highly appreciated by the teachers and judges present, who considered it an excellent effort to raise awareness among students.
A Pledge for Sustainable Development
On this platform of the Children's Science Congress, students also presented their projects on sustainable development. While some created models on water conservation, others introduced innovations regarding the use of solar energy. Participants believed that if today's students remain environmentally conscious, only then will the India of the future be safe and developed.
At the closing ceremony, the DIET Principal of Khagaria stated that this event of the Children's Science Congress would prove to be a milestone not only in the field of education but also in character building. He said, "These young scientists who have come to Khagaria will become great researchers and inventors of the country in the future."
The district education department officials, teachers, and volunteers played a significant role in the successful organization of the program. At the end of the event, the young scientists who performed excellently were awarded, and everyone took a pledge to learn from each other and move forward together. This event, concluded in Khagaria, became a symbol of the progress of science and also provided a direction for the future generation.
