According to the prosecution, on July 12, 2007, the Vigilance team laid a trap based on a complaint. The clerk was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹1,500 in exchange for official work. Since the arrest, the case had been pending in court, and the verdict has finally been delivered today.
