Tejashwi Yadav Targets NDA Government, Says 'Dal-Roti is Disappearing from the Common Man's Plate'
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has once again cornered the NDA government, both at the Centre and in the state, over the issue of rising inflation. He has alleged that due to the government's misguided policies, life has become unbearable for the common man, and the public is being forced to bear the brunt of skyrocketing prices.
Tejashwi’s Sharp Attack on Inflation
Taking aim at the government via social media, Tejashwi Yadav stated that the prices of essential commodities—such as vegetables, mustard oil, flour, and pulses—are touching the sky. He took a jibe at the government, claiming that instead of paying attention to these serious issues, the leaders are busy in their own world.
In his statement, the RJD leader said:
"Inflation has broken the back of the common man. 'Dal-Roti' is disappearing from their plates, but NDA leaders are busy with loot and saving their own chairs. They have no concern for the suffering of the people."
Crisis on the Public's Plate
Expressing concern over inflation data, Tejashwi Yadav stated that the unexpected surge in food prices has completely shattered the budgets of poor and middle-class families. According to him:
Vegetable Prices: The uncontrolled rise has ruined kitchen budgets.
Oil, Pulses, and Flour: Increasing prices of these essentials are becoming unaffordable for the common man.
Administrative Failure: He accused the government of failing to take concrete steps to curb hoarding and black marketing.
Accusations of Being 'Busy in Loot'
Tejashwi Yadav alleged that corruption is flourishing under the patronage of the NDA government. He stated that while the citizens of the country are struggling with inflation, those in power are making false claims of development and are busy looting the exchequer. He warned that if the government does not take immediate measures to control prices, the public will be forced to take to the streets.
This statement by Tejashwi Yadav comes at a time when food and vegetable prices are seeing fluctuations across many parts of the country alongside the onset of the monsoon. As the opposition party, the RJD is consistently trying to corner the government, and the issue of inflation is poised to become a central point in the upcoming political discourse.
There has been no official response from the government on this issue yet, but Tejashwi Yadav's attack has once again sparked a debate in Bihar's political circles.
