Bhagalpur: A grand District Worker Conference was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday in Jawaripur. The event was held as part of the 'Smaran Pakhwara' (Remembrance Fortnight) commemorating the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. Party officials and workers from across the district participated in the conference with great enthusiasm and discussed new strategies to strengthen the organization.
Identity of an Ideology-Based Party
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the offering of floral tributes to the portraits of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. The conference was presided over by BJP District President Santosh Kumar.
Addressing the workers, Chief Guest and Legislative Council Member (MLC) and State Vice President Anil Thakur stated that the BJP is different from other political parties because it is an "ideology-based" party. He emphasized that the party has never compromised on its principles and values. He called upon the workers to internalize Dr. Mookerjee's mantra of "Nation First" (Rashtra Sarvopari) and take it to every household.
The Message of 'Nation First'
Addressing the conference, Legislative Council Member Dr. N.K. Yadav and District In-charge Rajesh Jain recalled the sacrifices made by Dr. Mookerjee. They stated that Dr. Mookerjee’s life was not merely the struggle of an individual, but a living example of nationalism. His ideas are as relevant today as they were then. The speakers appealed to the workers to work with a spirit of dedication for the unity and integrity of the country.
