Training Camp for NCC Cadets Continues; ADG Reviews Arrangements
BHAGALPUR: A special training camp organized for NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets from Bhagalpur and other districts of the state has become the center of attention these days. Cadets from not just Bhagalpur, but also surrounding districts, are participating in this camp with immense dedication and enthusiasm. Recently, the Additional Director General (ADG) of the NCC visited the camp and conducted an in-depth inspection of the ongoing training activities. During the visit, he expressed satisfaction regarding the discipline of the cadets and their physical and mental development.
Objective of the Camp: Building Youth Leadership and Discipline
This training camp has been organized with the objective of preparing cadets for future challenges and developing qualities such as patriotism, discipline, punctuality, and leadership. During the inspection, the ADG stated that the NCC is not just about wearing a uniform; it is a long process of character building.
Rigorous Training: In the camp, cadets are practicing important subjects like drill, map reading, weapon training, and field craft.
Physical Health: From morning PT (Physical Training) to evening sports, special emphasis is being placed on making the cadets physically robust.
Disaster Management: The training also includes techniques for rescue operations during natural disasters and first aid.
ADG's Visit and Guidance
When the ADG arrived at the camp site, the cadets honored him with a âGuard of Honor.â He inspected the parade and praised the cadets' drill performance. In his address, the ADG stated, "The youth of Bihar are extremely meritorious and hardworking. This NCC platform provides them with a foundation to achieve success in various fields of society, as well as in the armed and paramilitary forces."
He also interacted with the cadets and taught them to adopt the ideal of âService Before Self.â The ADG praised the camp organizers and instructors for how they are providing high-level training to the cadets even with limited resources.
Participation from Bhagalpur and Other Districts
A major feature of this camp is its diversity. Along with Bhagalpur, cadets from districts like Munger, Banka, Khagaria, and Lakhisarai have also joined. Living in the same tents, eating together, and undergoing difficult training together is fostering mutual brotherhood and team spirit among the cadets. This inter-district coordination will help build a strong team for state-level activities in the future.
A New Learning Experience for Cadets
Many cadets participating in the camp mentioned that this was their first opportunity to live in such a disciplined environment away from home. One cadet shared, "Initially, waking up early and practicing for hours felt difficult, but now it has become our routine. We feel very inspired by the ADG sir's visit."
Future Prospects
Through the training camp, cadets are also being prepared for 'B' and 'C' certificate examinations, which are extremely important for their careers. The ADG instructed that along with training, cadets should also focus on personality development and interview techniques so that they can succeed in future competitions.
