Sachchi Jha, associated with the temple, has submitted a written complaint against unidentified persons at Shahkund Police Station. According to local residents, devotees arrived at the temple early in the morning for routine worship and found the main entrance lock broken. Upon entering, they discovered that the deity's crown, silver and other metal ornaments, and the cash kept inside the temple were missing.
