Sensational Incident in Muzaffarpur: Criminals Pose as Family to Board Auto, Rob the Vehicle at an Isolated Spot After Binding Driver
Muzaffarpur (Bihar): A highly shocking and bizarre robbery case has come to light from the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. In the Jaitpur police station area, clever criminals adopted a unique tactic to deceive the police and the public. The miscreants used a woman and a small child as a front to hire an auto-rickshaw, and later, upon finding an isolated spot along the way, robbed the vehicle at gunpoint and fled.
Driver Deceived by the Presence of Woman and Child
According to the information received, the victimized auto driver was targeted when the criminals boarded the vehicle under the guise of regular passengers. Confirming the incident, Saraiya SDPO (DSP) Abhijeet Kaur stated, "Two men, a woman, and a small child boarded the auto. Looking at them, anyone could easily be deceived into thinking they were just an ordinary family traveling somewhere."
Crime Executed Near Kolwara Village
The auto driver was heading towards the destination with the passengers. Late at night, as soon as the vehicle reached an isolated and dark stretch near Kolwara village under the Jaitpur police station area, the criminals inside showed their true colors. The suspects intimidated the driver, forced him to stop the vehicle, and assaulted him. Following this, they left the driver stranded and sped away with the auto.
Police Launching Raids
Following the incident, the victimized driver somehow managed to inform the local police. According to DSP Abhijeet Kaur, the police have taken the matter very seriously. To nab the criminals and recover the looted auto, the Jaitpur police and a special team of the district police are continuously conducting raids at suspected hideouts. The police stated that this gang, which used a woman and a child as a shield to commit robbery, will be busted soon.
