PG Fourth Semester (June 2026) Examinations from July 10 to 13, Admit Cards Issued and Exam Centers Fixed
Purnia: Taking an important step towards time-bound and well-organized conduct of examinations in the field of higher education, the examination department of Purnia University has officially announced the Post-Graduate (PG) Fourth Semester June 2026 examinations. According to the designated examination schedule, these examinations will be held from July 10 to July 13, 2026. Following the completion of the examination form submission process, the university administration issued the admit cards for the candidates on Tuesday itself.
Over 2,200 students are participating in this entire examination process. To ensure that the examinations are conducted in a completely peaceful, clean, and malpractice-free environment, the university has completed all its preparations and necessary, strict guidelines have already been issued to the concerned center superintendents.
Examination Centers and Allotted Colleges
For the smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations, Purnia University has established a total of two major examination centers where students from various colleges and departments will appear for their exams:
Purnia College Examination Center: Examinees from Purnia Women's College, DS College (Katihar), and Marwari College (Kishanganj) have been authorized to take their exams at this center.
Purnia Women's College Examination Center: Students from Purnia College, the PG Department of Purnia University, and Araria College (Araria) will appear for the examination at this center.
Group-Wise Subject Exams in Two Shifts
To ensure the examinations are organized systematically, the subjects have been divided into two major groups. The examinations will be held in two shifts daily:
First Shift: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Subject Groups:
Group A: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Commerce, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Maithili, Bengali, Urdu, Philosophy, Music, and Persian.
Group B: History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Geography, and Home Science.
Admit Cards and Guidelines
Admit cards for all eligible students have been made available online by the university's examination department. Students can download their admit cards from the official website of the university.
Malpractice-Free System: The university has clarified that copying or any form of indiscipline at the examination centers will not be tolerated. Rigorous verification of admit cards and identity cards of examinees will be conducted prior to entering the examination hall.
Punctuality: All students have been advised to be present at their designated examination center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
