What Happened Late on the Night of May 15?
On the morning of May 15, a blood-soaked and badly mutilated body of a man was recovered from a local area within the Bihpur police station limits. The victim's head and face were so badly crushed and disfigured that immediate identification was nearly impossible. Looking at the blood spread across the scene and the evidence, it was clearly estimated that criminals had executed this act with extreme brutality.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Bihpur police station team reached the spot and began collecting evidence with the help of a forensic team and a dog squad. After considerable effort, the body was identified as Naveen Kumar Singh (approximately 45 years old) through an ID card found in his pocket. Husband Released from Jail: The woman's husband, Brijesh, had been imprisoned in connection with a case for the past six months. During this time, closeness between Kajal and Naveen increased significantly.
Conspiracy Hatched Two Days After Release from Jail: The main accused, Brijesh, had been released from jail just two days prior to the incident (on May 13). Upon returning home, he learned about his wife's relationship with Naveen, which triggered domestic conflict.
The Girlfriend Made a Phone Call to Arrange a Meeting
The investigation also revealed that the accused woman, Kajal, had herself called Naveen Kumar Singh to meet her late on the night of May 15 under a pre-planned conspiracy. As soon as Naveen arrived at the designated spot, the woman's husband Brijesh, his younger brother Nitish, and other accomplices—who were lying in wait—attacked him.
