Patna: Security agencies in Bihar have gone on alert after the son of a state minister reportedly received a death threat and an extortion demand through a mobile phone message. According to available information, on July 24, an unidentified person sent a message to the minister’s son threatening to kill him and demanding money. Taking the matter seriously, the minister’s son lodged a formal complaint at the Patna Cyber Police Station, following which an FIR was registered and an investigation was launched.
