Patna: Political activity has intensified ahead of the Bankipur Assembly by-election in Bihar, with all constituents of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) stepping up their election campaigns. Among the alliance partners, the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] has emerged as one of the most active parties, demonstrating its commitment to coalition unity through extensive organizational efforts.

Soon after returning to Patna from Delhi, Nitish Kumar convened another review meeting with senior party leaders. He sought detailed feedback on the campaign, assessed the political situation on the ground, and reviewed the effectiveness of the party's election efforts.

During both meetings, Nitish Kumar placed particular emphasis on the role of party workers.
