Jan Suraaj Holds Tribute Meeting, Demands Fair Investigation and Justice
Muzaffarpur: The Jan Suraaj Party on Sunday organized a tribute meeting and candlelight march in Muzaffarpur to honor the memory of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari from Ara. During the event, party leaders and workers paid floral tributes to Tiwari and demanded a fair, transparent, and impartial investigation into the case, along with justice for his bereaved family. A large number of party workers, social activists, and local residents participated in the peaceful demonstration.
Candlelight March Begins from Collectorate Campus
The candlelight march commenced from the Collectorate campus under the leadership of Jan Suraaj Youth District President Rahul Raj. Holding candles and placards carrying messages seeking justice, party workers marched through various parts of the city. Participants stated that every citizen deserves a fair investigation and justice under the rule of law, and the march was organized to peacefully express that demand.
The procession concluded at the Shaheed Khudiram Bose Memorial, where participants observed a two-minute silence and paid tribute to Bharat Bhushan Tiwari by offering flowers and praying for the peace of his soul.
Demand for an Impartial Investigation
Addressing the gathering, party leaders stressed that the circumstances surrounding Bharat Bhushan Tiwari's death should be investigated in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. They said that if negligence or wrongdoing is found at any level during the investigation, those responsible should face strict legal action.
The speakers emphasized that public confidence in the justice system depends on transparent investigations and the disclosure of all relevant facts. They added that conclusions should be based on evidence rather than assumptions.
