Buxar: The indefinite protest demanding the reopening of the railway level crossing (railway gate) on Itarhi Road at the district headquarters continued for the fifth consecutive day on Thursday. Local residents have made it clear that the agitation will continue until the railway crossing is reopened.

A large number of local residents, social activists, and representatives of various organizations participated in the demonstration. Protesters urged the Railway authorities and district administration to reopen the crossing at the earliest in the larger public interest.

Protest Continues for the Fifth Day

The protest held on July 17 was chaired by District Convenor Saroj Rajbhar, while Ram Iqbal Thakur conducted the proceedings.
