Prince Yadav, Brother of Gyan Bindu Coaching Director, Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances in Nepal

Patna/Nepal: A major and tragic turn of events has emerged in the high-profile 'Khan Sir vs Roshan Anand' coaching dispute that recently shook Patna's Musallahpur Hat. Prince Yadav, the younger brother of Roshan Anand (Director of Gyan Bindu GS Academy) who had been absconding in connection with the case, has died under mysterious circumstances at a hotel/guest house in Nepal. Prince Yadav was a native of Bihar's Saharsa district and resided in Patna with his brother.

1. Absconding and Hiding in Nepal

On June 2, 2026, a massive clash involving heavy stone-pelting and vandalism took place at Khan Sir’s coaching institute, 'Khan Global Studies', located in Musallahpur Hat, Patna. In the First Information Report (FIR) registered by the Patna Police regarding this violence, Prince Yadav was named as one of the prime accused. To evade arrest by the police, Prince had fled Patna and was hiding at a guest house in Nepal.

2. Conflicting Theories Surrounding the Cause of Death

News of Prince Yadav's sudden demise broke on Sunday morning. Currently, two conflicting narratives are circulating regarding the cause of his death:

Brain Hemorrhage: According to preliminary media coverages by outlets like Navbharat Times and Hindustan, Prince Yadav suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage at the hotel on Sunday morning, leading to his death.

Gunshot Wound Theory: Conversely, other prominent media reports (such as Dainik Jagran) suggest that he sustained a gunshot wound inside the guest house, hinting at a potential murder.

Police Action: The Nepal Police have detained around six youths who were present with Prince at the hotel during the incident and are currently interrogating them.

3. Stance of the Patna Police and Family

Upon receiving the grim news, Prince Yadav’s family members immediately left for Nepal. Meanwhile, the Patna Police stated that they are yet to receive any written or formal official confirmation regarding the death from the Nepal Police or official channels. The Nepal Police are investigating the case from all possible angles.

4. Background: The Khan Sir vs Roshan Anand Dispute

The June 2 Clashes: The dispute stems from a fierce rivalry for dominance between the coaching institutes of 'Khan Sir' (Faizal Khan) and 'Gyan Bindu' Director Roshan Anand. This culminated in a violent attack on Khan Sir's center on June 2.

Roshan Anand Jailed: Based on CCTV footage and subsequent investigations, the Patna Police arrested Gyan Bindu Director Roshan Anand and his associates. Roshan Anand is currently lodged in Patna's Beur Jail.

Case Against Khan Sir: Khan Sir has also been named as an accused in a cross-FIR filed in connection with the case. However, the court has granted him interim protection, staying his arrest until June 20.

Security Alert in Patna: Following the news of Prince Yadav's death, the atmosphere in Patna's coaching hubs has become highly sensitive. To prevent any further clashes, factionalism, or untoward incidents, additional police forces have been heavily deployed across the Peerbahore and Kadamkuan police station areas.
