DM Conducts Surprise Inspection of Preparations, Emphasizes Cleanliness and Security
Bhagalpur: The district administration has become fully alert and active regarding the Chief Minister’s proposed visit to Bhagalpur. To ensure that the program is successful, secure, and well-organized, the District Magistrate (DM) conducted an intensive inspection of the venue and surrounding areas on Tuesday. During the review of the preparations, he issued clear instructions that no laxity or negligence at any level would be tolerated.
Taking Stock of Preparations: From Security to Sanitation
Work is progressing on a war footing at the administrative level in Bhagalpur regarding the Chief Minister’s arrival. During the inspection, the District Magistrate meticulously reviewed all fundamental facilities, including security arrangements, barricading, entry and exit management, seating arrangements, drinking water supply, power backup, medical facilities, fire safety protocols, parking, and traffic control.
The DM gave special instructions regarding cleanliness. He stated that sanitation arrangements at the venue and the surrounding approach roads must be airtight. The District Magistrate has entrusted the Municipal Commissioner with the responsibility of special monitoring for this task to ensure that there is no sign of litter or neglect anywhere.
Strict Warning to Officials: 'No Laxity at Any Level Will Be Accepted'
During the inspection, the District Magistrate held a meeting with officials from all relevant departments and stated in clear terms: "All departments should work in mutual coordination for the successful and seamless organization of the Chief Minister’s proposed program. No laxity or negligence at any level will be accepted. All arrangements must be ensured in accordance with the prescribed standards and protocols."
He directed the concerned officials to complete all preparations within the stipulated timeframe and ensure that no errors remain at the last minute. For this, he mandated a re-verification of every arrangement to ensure perfection.
Emphasis on Coordination and Continuous Monitoring
The District Magistrate stated that the district administration is working with the utmost sensitivity regarding the Chief Minister's visit. The pace of preparation is rapid, and all departments have been instructed to discharge their assigned responsibilities with complete integrity.
Traffic Management: Detailed instructions have been issued regarding route diversions and parking arrangements to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Medical and Security: Along with the deployment of security forces, emergency medical facilities (ambulances and medical teams) have been ordered to remain stationed at the venue.
Continuous Monitoring: Constant monitoring is being carried out to ensure the successful conduct of the program.
