Patna: Bihar is set to take a major step toward promoting tourism with the launch of the Chief Minister Bihar Heli-Tourism and Air Tourism Service Scheme 2026. Beginning Saturday, the state will introduce Patna Joy Ride, a helicopter sightseeing service that will allow residents and tourists to experience the capital city from the air for the first time.
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will formally inaugurate the service at 3:00 PM from the State Hangar in Patna. The Chief Minister also shared details of the initiative on the social media platform X, describing it as a landmark step toward strengthening Bihar's tourism sector.

One of the most exciting features of the new scheme is that ordinary citizens and visitors will now have the opportunity to enjoy an aerial tour of Patna by helicopter.
