Body of Unidentified Woman Found in Semi-Nude Condition from Dry River in Bhojpur; Burn Marks Raise Suspicion of Murder, Police Launch Investigation

A shocking incident was reported on Monday morning from Babhangawa village under the Barhara police station area in Bhojpur district, where the body of an approximately 40-year-old unidentified woman was recovered from a dry river in a semi-nude condition. The discovery created panic and sensation in the area.
According to locals, some villagers who had gone near the river early in the morning spotted the body lying in the water and immediately informed the Barhara police station. Following the alert, police teams from both Barhara and Babura police stations reached the spot and took possession of the body for further investigation.
Burn Marks Found on Body, Suspicion of Murder
Police and villagers reported that several burn marks were found on the woman’s body. This has raised strong suspicion that she may have been murdered elsewhere and her body later dumped in the river in an attempt to destroy evidence.
