Patna: Veteran actor-turned-politician and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha recently met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in Patna. Known popularly as ‘Bihari Babu’ and ‘Shotgun’, Sinha’s meeting with Lalu Yadav has attracted attention in Bihar’s political circles.

After the meeting, Shatrughan Sinha showered praise on Lalu Prasad Yadav, describing him as a mass leader, a towering political figure and a very good human being. Sinha said his relationship with Lalu Yadav was not merely political, but also rooted in a long-standing personal and family friendship.

According to reports, Shatrughan Sinha visited Lalu Yadav’s residence in Kautilya Nagar, Patna, on Saturday. Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi was also present during the meeting. Sinha reportedly said that Tejashwi Yadav was outside Patna at the time, while Tej Pratap Yadav was also away from Bihar. As a result, he was unable to meet either of them.

Tejashwi Yadav remains an important figure in Bihar politics and has played a major role in the RJD’s political activities. Tej Pratap Yadav, meanwhile, has taken a separate political path after breaking away from the RJD.
