A team of 310 selected entrepreneurs from Muzaffarpur district will participate in this special residential and practical training program, and they are required to mandatorily attend this training camp in a phased manner until August 11. Organized by the Department of Industries, the primary objective of this intensive training is to thoroughly acquaint new entrepreneurs with business acumen, financial management, market demand, and legal formalities so that they can establish their enterprises successfully.

Mandatory Participation: The Department of Industries has clarified that 100% attendance in the training is mandatory. Only after successfully completing the training and receiving its certificate will the next financial installment of the scheme be transferred to the beneficiaries' bank accounts.

What Will Entrepreneurs Be Taught During Training? (Course Content)

In this week-long intensive training program, entrepreneurs will be imparted not just theoretical knowledge, but also practical and technical nuances. Subject experts will provide guidance on the following key topics:

Drafting Business Plans and Project Reports: Selected beneficiaries will be taught how to prepare project reports and reduce production costs based on the industry they have chosen (such as textiles, food processing, manufacturing, service sector, etc.).

Financial Management and Banking Procedures: Information will be provided on government subsidies, repayment of bank loan installments, working capital management, and maintaining proper accounting books.

GST, Licensing, and Legal Processes: The complete digital process of obtaining required trade licenses, GST registration, MSME/Udyam registration, and No Objection Certificates (NOC) from the pollution board for establishing a new industry will be explained.

Marketing and Digital Selling: Special sessions will be held on how to sell manufactured products in the market, list them on online e-commerce platforms (such as the GeM portal, Amazon, Flipkart), and handle branding.

Preparations by the Department of Industries and District Administration

Comprehensive arrangements have been made by the Muzaffarpur District Industries Centre (DIC) and the Department of Industries headquarters in Patna to run this event smoothly.

Information and Reporting to Beneficiaries: The Muzaffarpur District Industries Centre has informed all 310 selected entrepreneurs about the training venue, date, and time via their registered mobile numbers, emails, and letters.

Residential and Food Arrangements: Free and well-organized boarding and lodging arrangements have been made in Patna by the Department of Industries for entrepreneurs arriving from distant districts.

Guidance and Helpdesk: To prevent any kind of inconvenience, a special helpdesk has been established at the Patna training center, where officials and nodal officers will guide the entrepreneurs.

The 'Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana' has played a pivotal role in eradicating the problem of unemployment in Bihar and generating new employment opportunities at the local level.
