Muzaffarpur: A highly shameful and brutal incident has come to light from the Gaighat police station area of the district, causing a sensation throughout the entire region. A criminal who broke into a house with the intention of theft not only attempted to loot the house but also launched a deadly attack on the woman when she resisted. Crossing the limits of barbarity, the accused stabbed the woman in her private parts with a sickle. Following this horrific incident, the victim has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

According to the information received, the victim was alone in her home. Late at night, while she was asleep, a thief climbed over the house wall and entered. Hearing the noise, the woman woke up and spotted the thief. When the woman tried to raise an alarm and resist, the criminal pulled out a sharp-edged weapon (a sickle) and attacked her.
The miscreant severely injured the woman and struck her on a sensitive part of her body. Hearing the woman's screams, nearby residents rushed to the spot, but the accused managed to escape into the darkness. Relatives rushed the suffering woman to a local hospital, from where, given her critical condition, she was referred to SKMCH (Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital).

Doctors at SKMCH stated that the woman's condition was extremely critical and she was suffering from excessive blood loss. After being admitted to the hospital, a team of doctors performed an immediate operation. Currently, the woman's condition is reported to be stable following the surgery, but she remains in deep shock. Doctors mentioned that the wound was very deep and her life could only be saved because she received timely medical treatment.
