Pirpainti (Bhagalpur): A massive uproar was witnessed in the Pirpainti block of Bhagalpur district this morning following a tragic road accident. In protest against the incident, angry villagers blocked the main road using bamboo poles. Due to this blockade, traffic came to a complete standstill from the early hours, resulting in long queues of vehicles and causing significant hardship to commuters under the intense heat.
Cause of the Incident and Villagers' Outrage
According to the information received, the incident occurred this morning. It is reported that a local resident was critically injured after being hit by a speeding vehicle. Following this incident, the local residents' anger boiled over.
