'Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Jagran Seva Samiti' Organizes Service Camp and Recitation of Hanuman Chalisa at Manokamna Temple

Darbhanga: The sacred land of Mithila, where devotion is woven into every particle, once again witnessed a unique scene of piety. A grand religious ritual was organized under the aegis of the 'Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Jagran Seva Samiti' at the premises of the renowned Manokamna Temple in Darbhanga. This event featured both a selfless 'Service Camp' (Seva Shivir) and a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa, which resonated throughout the temple premises.

Grand Inauguration of the Program

The event was jointly presided over by senior office-bearers of the committee, Sunil Garai and Deepak Panjiyar. The program was formally inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The Manokamna Temple premises were beautifully decorated with flowers and lamps for the occasion. A steady stream of devotees began arriving from the morning, continuing late into the evening.

Collective Hanuman Chalisa: A Wave of Devotion

The main attraction of the event was the 'Collective Recitation of Hanuman Chalisa.' When hundreds of devotees present recited the praise of the Sankatmochan (the remover of obstacles) Lord Hanuman in unison, the entire temple complex was immersed in a sea of devotion. The verses of the Hanuman Chalisa infused a sense of positive energy among the congregation. On this occasion, Sunil Garai said:

"Reciting the Hanuman Chalisa is not just a religious ritual, but a means to awaken patience, courage, and unwavering faith in the Lord within the devotees. In today’s stressful age, taking refuge in Lord Hanuman is what can provide us with mental peace."

The Purpose of the Service Camp

Through this event, the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Jagran Seva Samiti prioritized the spirit of service. A 'Service Camp' was set up within the temple premises, providing facilities such as refreshments, cold drinking water, and first aid for the arriving devotees. Encouraging the volunteers during the camp, Deepak Panjiyar stated, "Service to humanity is service to God. The aim of the committee is not just to organize religious events, but to awaken the spirit of service and altruism among the general public."

Special Presence of Former MLA Amarnath Gami

Former Bihar MLA Amarnath Gami marked his presence as the Chief Guest. He performed prayers at the temple according to traditional rites and highly praised the efforts of the committee. On this occasion, he remarked:

Cultural Consciousness: Such events play a vital role in keeping our cultural and religious consciousness alive.

Social Unity: He emphasized that religious programs work to connect different sections of society and foster mutual love and harmony.

Works of the Committee: Praising the initiatives of the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Jagran Seva Samiti, Amarnath Gami stated that the committee's active participation in social welfare alongside religious rituals is commendable.

Active Participation of the Youth

A notable feature of this event was the large-scale participation of the youth. Acting as volunteers, they handled every task with great diligence—from managing the service camp to overseeing the arrangements of the temple premises. This serves as proof of how aware the younger generation is becoming regarding their roots and Sanatan culture.

A Message: Social Harmony

At the end of the program, the committee officials expressed their gratitude to all those present. They made it clear that the committee will continue to organize such events in the future to spread the light of religion and service across Mithilanchal. This collective recitation also sent a message that peace and morality can only be established in society by walking the path of righteousness.

The Manokamna Temple in Darbhanga, already famous for its spiritual energy, was further sanctified by this ritual held on Sunday. The presence of former MLA Amarnath Gami and the efficient leadership of Sunil Garai and Deepak Panjiyar took this event to new heights. The success of the collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and the service camp proved that when devotion and service unite, society receives a new, positive direction.
