Mahima Kumari, a nursing officer, was targeted by miscreants while she was returning to her residence late at night after completing her duty at the hospital. The criminals snatched her gold chain and ring. The incident has caused panic among the hospital staff and the surrounding area.

According to the victim, Mahima Kumari, the incident occurred on the night of June 12. As she was walking toward her residence adjacent to the hospital campus after her shift, she was surrounded by miscreants who had been lying in wait. Before she could react, the perpetrators forcibly snatched her gold chain and ring. After committing the crime, the criminals took advantage of the darkness and fled the scene.
Stolen Items and Value
The victim stated that the total value of the stolen jewelry is estimated to be approximately ₹1.60 lakh (one lakh sixty thousand rupees). This included a high-value gold chain and a ring.
Police Investigation
Immediately upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and gathered details regarding the case. Based on the victim's statement, the police have registered an First Information Report (FIR) under the relevant sections of the law.
