International Yoga Day: State-Level Event at Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna; CM Samrat Choudhary and Health Minister Nishant Kumar Perform Yoga

On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, a grand state-level mass yoga camp was organized today at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Kankarbagh, Patna. The special event was led by Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. Along with him, Bihar's Health Minister Nishant Kumar, former Minister Mangal Pandey, several senior leaders, administrative officials, and thousands of citizens practiced various yoga asanas together.

 Major Highlights of the Event:

High-Profile Participation: Along with Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the newly appointed State Health Minister Nishant Kumar marked a prominent presence at the main state-level event. Former Minister Mangal Pandey and several other public representatives were also present on the stage.

The Inauguration: Before the commencement of the mass yoga session, the national anthem was played in the presence of all dignitaries, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp to officially inaugurate the event.

Celebrating Global Recognition: Addressing the media after the session, the Chief Minister remarked that it is due to the visionary efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that 'Yoga', a heritage of Indian culture, has achieved this grand global recognition.

Highlighting the importance of yoga, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary extended his wishes to the people of the state and stated:

"Yoga is not merely a physical exercise, but a powerful medium to keep both body and mind healthy, attain mental peace, and live a positive lifestyle. To build a 'Healthy Bihar and Prosperous India', we must all make yoga an integral part of our daily routine."

Apart from the main event at the Patliputra Sports Complex, mass yoga camps were organized on a large scale across Bihar, including the historic Gandhi ą¤®ą„ˆą¤¦ą¤¾ą¤Ø in Patna, all district headquarters, schools, colleges, and administrative offices, witnessing enthusiastic public participation.
